Privacy Policy — RiRi Daily

This Privacy Policy applies to the RiRi Daily mobile application and related support experiences (together, the “Service”). By using the Service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Information you provide

When you create and use an account, you may provide an email address, profile name, biography, avatar, optional city, habit plans, schedules, check-ins, reflections, comments, likes, follows, direct messages, and content you choose to share. You may also provide information in support requests, reports, appeals, or account-deletion requests.

Information created through the Service

We create records needed to operate the features you choose, such as progress history, post visibility, moderation status, conversation state, notification preferences, wallet balances, purchase identifiers, and safety reports. Camera and microphone access is requested only when you choose a media feature or video call. We do not access those sensors in the background for unrelated purposes.

How we use information

To create and maintain your account and provide habit, check-in, community, messaging, and call features.
To show your own history and display the public posts you choose to share.
To process purchases, prevent duplicate credits, and maintain your coin and makeup-ticket balance.
To review reports, apply community safeguards, prevent abuse, and respond to support requests.
To communicate important service, safety, policy, and account updates.

Public and private information

Posts you publish to the Plaza can be visible to the community until you delete them. Profile details you choose to display may be visible to other users. Direct messages and call metadata are used to deliver conversations and safety tools. Please share only content you are comfortable making available to the audience you select.

Payments

Purchases are processed by the relevant app store. RiRi Daily does not store your payment card number or payment password. We receive limited transaction details, such as a product identifier, order identifier, receipt or verification reference, amount, and status, so we can credit the correct wallet balance and help with purchase support.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us host, deliver, secure, moderate, support, or process the Service. They may use information only to perform services for RiRi Daily and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the Service, or in connection with a lawful business transition.

Retention and security

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described here, including safety, dispute resolution, accounting, and legal obligations. We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information, but no online service can promise absolute security.

Your choices and account deletion

You can review and update available profile, notification, privacy, and account settings in the app. To permanently delete your account, open Settings → Account & deletion and follow the confirmation steps. Account-owned profile, habit, check-in, post, message, and wallet data is removed as described in the app’s deletion flow and cannot be recovered. Limited safety or legal records may be retained when necessary to prevent abuse or comply with law.

Children and families

RiRi Daily is designed for people of every age and for families around the world. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information in a way that needs attention, contact us so we can review the request and take appropriate action.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Service changes. We will make the revised version available here and may provide an in-app notice when a change is meaningful. The effective date and version above show which text is current.
